Saturday 17th May - walk **** – Nacton Shores – sunny and warm!

A bit of a lay-in doing word games, a really poo week for Wordle this week, then at 9.30 I headed out in the van to take some weather pics to send to the TV, always a bit of a waste of time at the weekend as very few are used! I only got as fa as the cliff top just past Bent Hill and stopped to take the lovely flowers in the Spa Gardens on a warm day with sunny periods! A quick stop at The Fludyes before home to sort my photos , breakfast and do my exercises in the sunny back garden before packing a picnic. We took the van but quite late nearly two with no idea whee to go? We actually ended up at Nacton Shore, getting the last parking spot at the top ca park so we could walk down through the woods. Some numpty had parked there campervan on the grass near the River Orwell, hope they put a spot to that as it would spoil a lovely picnic spot! We then sat on a bench to enjoy another yummy pate roll, just delicious:) We had a very relaxing time enjoying the peace and quiet watching several yachts out in the light airs. With the tide high we then took the high path along the Orwell with great view down to the river, turning when we reached the end of the trees to return to the van watching a noisy jet povost. We then took the scenic route back via Levington stopping to watch a large herd of deer, top day:)
